I asked God for riches he didn’t reply

I asked him for a man he asked why

I asked him for a career

He said be patient my dear

I asked him for a car

He said I’m taking it too far

He told me I forgot about the material things that I think count

Love, faith, and trust in him will give me the largest amount

Everything will fall in to place

If u make choices by God’s Grace

Don’t follow what people do

Allow me to shine through you

I am you’re God I won’t steer you wrong

But I need you to focus and stay strong

I will give u what u need

Just follow my lead
